Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Do you take my insurance?
We do take health insurance, however we are out of network.
2. Why do Kids need to see a Chiropractor?
There is actually a variety of reasons for a child to see a chiropractor. In fact, the #1 reason children see a chiropractor is for wellness. Many parents nowadays are choosing to be proactive with their children’s health, rather than reactive. This fits perfectly with chiropractic, which is wellness-based and thus proactive and preventative. Many of our parents bring their newborn infants to our office on the way home from the hospital, before even going to the pediatrician.
Other common reasons for children to see a chiropractor include difficulty nursing, colic, and ear/sinus infections, which are all conditions often caused by problems with the upper neck that likely were caused by birth trauma such as C-section or forceps delivery. Parents also bring their kids to a chiropractor for care of colds and flu-like issues.
Our office specializes in the care of children with Neuro-Developmental Disorders such as autism, ADD/ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and learning disabilities. Since chiropractic seeks to restore balance and proper function to the nervous system, chiropractic for these kids often has life-altering changes!

3. What are common misconceptions about what you do?
A common misconception is that chiropractic is just for neck and back pain (not that they won’t benefit from chiropractic care if they are in pain but it’s not for that…the only reason we adjust the neck and back is to affect the nervous system). We don’t control whether or not symptoms go away, but we do remove interference to the nervous system and increase your likelihood of your body being able to heal itself. The other major misconception reguarding chiropractic care is the expense---If you compare it to any other healthcare out there, you get more bang for your buck out of chiropractic care than anything else out there.
4. When will I be done with care?
The field of chiropractic has more in common with dentistry than medicine. Just like your dentist works for you, we do too so you can quit any time you want. But once the symptoms are gone people continue with dental care for their overall health. Chiropractic care works the same way: if you want to patch one problem after another for life you can, but if you want to stay healthy for the rest of your life chiropractic care should be part of your wellness plan. Keeping your nervous system functioning optimally is a lifelong choice.
